ManyNames Launches SEHU Label and Drops Creatively Diverse Remix Package

ManyNames returns with his latest 3-track remix package, out on his newly-launched label, SEHU, featuring some of his favorite producers.

SEHU is the brand new label and brainchild of DJ and producer Julian Reyes, better known as ManyNames. This innovative project was born out of Keyframe-Entertainment’s former Psychill label. Rather than honing in on Psychill artists like Keyframe historically has, SEHU focuses on 4×4 Progressive Tech and is more of an ode to the underground, penetrating the boundaries of modern electronic music.

To celebrate the launch of SEHU, ManyNames has enlisted three talented artists for a 3-track remix EP, ‘Watchu Know About WHAT.’ The original ‘Watchu Know About WHAT’ EP was released on SofaBeats in April 2022, featuring mixes by Merlyn Silva and Bluetech:

Exclusively curated by Gizma, Mystik, and MetaTek, this fresh collection combines various dance genres across Psytrance, House, and Techno to deliver a fresh spin on this sonic composition.

The first artist on the remix roster is Gizma, who holds a medical degree and strives to combine her medical understanding with the healing powers of musical frequencies. In the first track, the artist introduces arresting synth leads fueled with cavernous bass chops. The track wholly pervades the senses from the start, as the entrancing kick drops provide the listeners with the ideology of an immersive record.

The next track is a powerful rendition of “Watchu Know About WHAT” by esteemed instrumentalist and recording artist Peter Loomis, or Mystik. The producer opens with a splash of an emotive, deep-rooted stir that swirls with elements of deep dive. A certified anthem, this house music notoriety enters a deep dimension through intricate instrumentals and alluring rhythms.

Closing off with the final track, MetaTek takes on a high energy acid techno sensibilities. Impressively, he is a long-standing member of the Opulent Temple (a Burning Man camp and artist collective), which has put him in a position to DJ alongside industry leaders like Christopher Lawrence, Carl Cox, and The Crystal Method. The cut showcases a fusion of warped instrumentation and brooding synths that deliver glistening synths to set the tone.
