Liquid Stranger Teases Forthcoming EP with Vibey New Single “Smoke N Hope”

Liquid Stranger drops his first track ‘Smoke N Hope’ on December 8th in preparation for his upcoming EP ‘Unity’.

Liquid Stranger gave bassheads something to talk about with his latest release. On December 8th, the label owner of SSKWAN, Liquid Stranger, dropped his lead single from his future EP titled ‘Unity’. Although the EP is not slated to release until 2023, this track is one that excites fans around the world! The track was released on SSKWAN, which is the brother label to the popular bass label, WAKAAN. The thriving bass DJ and producer, Liquid Stranger, makes fans drop jaws with his latest release. Besides, the release is one that truly splits away from the regular group of music we have heard from the artist. With his newest release, ‘Smoke N Hope’, we venture into a new wave of sound by Liquid Stranger. The track features the noteworthy J Lauryn who brings a special touch to the track.

Only a short time after Liquid Stranger’s admirable albums, ‘Balance and ‘Dimensions’, ‘Smoke N Hope’ released. The track indeed comes as a fresh and reviving sound for the artist. In the track, you will hear large but centered deconstructed instrumentation accompanied by strong and powerful ragga vocals. Those beats continue beautifully but with an introduction of a faint but specific strumming of a sole acoustic guitar. These elements definitely transport listeners to a Western feel setting the scene for the rest of the track. Liquid Stranger continues to take us on a ride throughout the track. He helps to paint a definitive mental image of his vision with the soundwaves of each beat serving as his medium.

Through this track, we can envision where Liquid Stranger is taking his new sound. We hear him Expressing himself in a new and unique way in this track compared to his superior bass-heavy discography.  Liquid Stranger’s ‘Smoke N Hope’ surely gives listeners a glimpse of what’s to come in the SSKWAN-derived full-length album. While creating the track, Liquid Stranger seamlessly uses his attentive producing skills to weave in an infinite rhythmic element while the vocals from J Lauryn’s lyrics glide over Liquid Stranger’s collection of rich drums, chimes, and raspy exhales, paying tribute to the title of the track, ‘Smoke N Hope’. Following such, we hear the artist bring in some low-pitched basslines. With these basslines,  the wise producer manages to not only combine the gap between reggae and electronic music but uses classic components of both to develop something entirely unique and new.

Alongside his latest release, Liquid Stranger is currently completing his second nationwide headlining tour, DIMENSIONS. The artist is joined on tour by support acts Tripp St., Ravenscoon, and Tape B. Following his tour, Liquid Stranger will be preparing for his biggest closeout of the year including two massive sets, headlining both Decadence Arizona and Radiance NYE. If you can catch a set by this master of bass music, make a point to catch one of his upcoming sets!
