Ultra Music Festival Recruits Marshmello, Alesso, Charlotte de Witte, Afrojack, and More for Phase 2 Lineup

Ultra Music Festival 2023 prepares for its second year back at Bayfront Park with the release of Phase 2, and one of its biggest lineups yet.

Ultra Music Festival recently revealed its Phase 2 lineup, leaving no stone unturned as it pulled talent for 2023’s installation. Featuring 100+ additional artists, this year promises a myriad of sounds fitting for dance music fans of all backgrounds. At this point, it’s difficult to imagine how Phase 3 could go any further in wowing us.

Anyone who has attended Ultra can attest that there is something enrapturing about the energy that its festival grounds foster. The festival marks the culmination of Miami Music Week every year, drawing in people from across the world to celebrate dance music. Though lacking the elaborate decorations and attractions of a Coachella or EDC, it’s clear that Ultra is committed to an extraordinary musical caliber.

Ultra wasted no time during Phase 1, unveiling a RESISTANCE roster jampacked with house and techno royalty.  Headliners included Adam Beyer ◻︎ Cirez D, Camelphat, Michael Bibi, as well as techno legend Carl Cox. Indeed, given its longstanding history and reputation, Ultra’s newest announcement only confirmed the public’s expectations for its 23rd year.

Ultra Miami has, of course, experienced its share of planning hiccups in recent years. Obviously, the COVID-19 pandemic put an abrupt halt to large live events, including Ultra, chiefly between 2020 and 2021.

Ultra will return to the iconic Bayfront Park from March 24-26, 2023. Last May, Ultra organizers joyfully announced its long-awaited agreement with the City to remain at Bayfront through 2027. For those to whom Ultra feels like home especially, the news felt like a warm hug after years of uncertainty.

Phase 2 promises plentiful debut back-to-back performances, Including Dom Dolla b2b Vintage Culture and Oliver Heldens b2b Tchami. Moreover, additional headliners include Charlotte de Witte, Hardwell, Rezz, and Subtronics – none of whom attended Ultra Miami in 2022.  Furthermore, Ultra will present the world debut of Black Tiger Sex Machine’s live Portals show, along with the first-ever Jauz b2b SVDDEN DEATH set.

Tickets are still available at several price tiers, but you should probably act quickly given the looks of this killer lineup.  For more information about Ultra Music Festival 2023, click here.

Having grown up just an earshot from Ultra Miami's venue Bayfront Park, it was next to impossible for me not to fall in love with electronic music. My love for music was evidently strong enough for me to write my college essay on festival culture and continue attending Ultra for 10+ years now. I have always had a knack for writing and the power of words, which I continued cultivating through a Philosophy degree in college. Now a law school graduate, I eventually hope to merge my passions by working in music law. I am an avid traveler and am certainly not afraid to hop on a plane for a music event. My next bucket list festivals to attend are Tomorrowland in Belgium and Sonus in Croatia. Though the list could go on forever, some of my favorite artists include Franky Wah, Mochakk, Kevin de Vries, and Eli Brown.
