EDM Community Shares Touching Tributes in Honor of Charlesthefirst’s Birthday

Nearly a year after his passing, CrownTheFoundation was founded in honor of Charlesthefirst’s birthday.

On November 25, the EDM community shined a light on a producer that was lost nearly a year ago. The very young, and talented, Charlesthefirst, passed away on December 10, 2021. Since his loss, fans and colleagues have been bumping music to keep his legacy going. Apart from his music, so many fans and members of the music community honored him on his birthday. 

West Coast producer, Player Dave, posted a heartfelt Instagram caption about Charlie. He wrote “Today I feel your presence a lot and I’m immensely grateful for that. some moments we shared together impacted my life in a way I never got to repay you for, only me, you, and a handful of people really know what that is.” 

He continued ” I still hear that hilarious laugh of yours, and you telling me never to listen or trust anyone else’s vision except for my own. your belief in me will resonate in my heart forever, and keep me confident in everything I do for the entirety of my existence on this planet. happy I get to spend today with all your favorite people and celebrate you.”

In honor of CharlestheFirst’s birthday, CrownTheFoundation has officially launched with the mission “To nurture health, creativity, and resilience in the bass music community.” The project’s goal is to provide a location surrounded by nature for artists to breathe fresh air and heal when they need it.

In addition, they envision a fully equipped studio, workshop space, therapeutic healing, and other avenues of mental health awareness. This tranquil oasis plans to be open to artists and music community members.
