Dombresky Claims he ‘Tried Sobriety’ For Three Months But it Was ‘Boring’

Quentin Dombres, famously known as DJ and producer Dombresky, shows love, gratitude, and a few giggles about his sobriety experience.

When the festive house artist is not plotting his next chaotic recipe behind the decks, you may catch him under the disco ball, or serving a sneaky DJ booth appearance at John Summit’s set at Club Space Miami. Relatable to most humans figuring out the balance of life: sometimes a reset button like October 2019 is needed for El Dombrero.

As the months of post-festival season settle in, Dombresky decided to treat his body like a temple and give it the fairy break it deserved. The producer and DJ showed gratitude on Twitter with a vibrant portrait accompanied by a smile, a fuzzy jacket, and a silly little glass of red wine.

There was initially no commitment to how long the sobriety journey would end as Dombresky tweeted that he only challenged himself for “a bit”. Even though it “was boring as f***”, Quentin remains grateful that he succeeded in three months of sobriety.

The disco shoes stay on and the fun still arrives! Dombresky made sure to feel all the love on Twitter when producer pals like Noizu made sure to give a token of recognition for the three-month sober train.

Domebresky showed some love to his fans that encouraged his sober challenge. Fans such as Itzel Maldonado (@Zellyyy_) encouraged the completion of Dombresky’s sober challenge.

Twitter fans made sure to give a meme moment poke-back at Dombresky’s sober challenge by questioning his recent visit to the magical furniture store that is Ikea. Clearly, Dombresky has learned to encourage the waves and balance of life, of course with intentional “silly time” by liking the fan’s tweet.

Dombresky will be sharing his energy from behind the decks at this year’s Art Basel Miami on Thursday, December 1st. The DJ and producer will be hosting his personal Art Basel boat party to only end the night at El Row at Factory Town.

Yoooo, the homies call me Marz. I am a multidimensional Piscean Latina fairy from Miami-Dade County (no, not Florida). Electronic music has allowed me to appreciate the profound beauty that can be found in finding peace within the chaos. Artists such as Rezz, Skrillex, John Summit, Michael Bibi, and Amtrac blend the two seamlessly, creating a harmonious balance that resonates with me whenever I am on the dancefloor. When I am writing about electronic music, I feel this same balance of peace and chaos moving through me - starting in my hips, filling my heart, and radiating out from my soul. The power of music has brought me to this exact moment, and I only desire that you feel the warmth of the sun through my words.
