Champagne Drip Performs Groundbreaking Set at 45 East in Portland, Oregon
Champagne Drip and his support Sippy performed at 45 East in Portland, Oregon for a sold-out night full of bass.
Champagne Drip performed a sold-out night at 45 East in Portland, Oregon for his Time Warp tour with support by Sippy. This tour followed the release of his latest EP ‘Time Warp’ on WAKAAN featuring four unique tracks.
45 East is one of the main venues for electronic music that has seen acts by the likes of Chris Lake, Nora En Pure, ATLiens, and Wenzday. The venue features two floors which means double the music and features a tasty bar selection. Both Champagne Drip and Sippy delivered a fantastic set to Portlanders last Friday night.
First up was Sippy who was given the full respect of full-scale sound production which some venues make lower for the openers, but not 45 East. She played many of her original tracks such as “Run It Up” featuring Sam King. During this song, one could feel the whole ground vibrating from the soles of the feet all the way up to the depths of one’s chest.
Sippy also played a remix to her track “Captive” which had those in the crowd very excited. She also played some LSDream and “Gassed Up” by Zeds dead which is always a good idea. Sippy has a very enthusiastic stage presence and Portlanders were very lucky to get to experience her energy.
Next up was the trippy bass legend Champagne Drip who began the night with cryo jets blasting off into the crowd. Early on into the night, he played one of his most popular songs “Me and You” featuring Lucii. A girl with iridescent tinsels in her hair was seen having her amazing main-character moment and spinning around with a big smile on her face.
Throughout the night Drip played many of his songs including “Sentinel” “That Feeling” and a couple of unreleased tracks. He also had some trippy visuals with his water drip logo and sprinkled in some hardstyle songs throughout his set. Toward the end, Champagne Drip played his track “ETERNAL NOW” featuring LSDream which he meshed together with Nirvana’s “Come as You Are” which was as euphoric as one would think it is.
At the end of the night, Sam bid everyone farewell and said to “take care of each other and love one another”, the sweetest way to end the night. Champagne Drip will be continuing the rest of his tour until mid-December so make sure to catch tickets for his remaining shows here. Finally, you can catch the photos from Red Cube’s Facebook page here to relive this fantastic night!
