Printworks London Announces Final Season of Shows Ahead of Permanent Closure

It is time to bid farewell to Printworks London after the final season of shows in 2023, but the team promises a return in the near future.

Printworks London is officially shutting its doors as it announces its final season of shows. The groundbreaking event space and nightclub shared the news over social media, expressing their gratitude for all the support in a special message from the team.

While they posted a cryptic message on Instagram with the words “2017-2023”, Printworks announces on Twitter that “SS23 will be our biggest season to date and the culmination of six incredible years”. The Surrey Quays nightclub was meant to be a temporary space built in the area as the Southwark Council plans to redevelop the area and endorse other project partnerships.

Printworks is known for its iconic club experience, delivering quality events and popular DJs such as Peggy Gou, Bicep, and Defected, just a few of the many names that graced the decks over the years. The 6000-capacity venue continues to attract large crowds and ravers worldwide, earning seventh place in DJ Mag’s world-best clubs in 2021.

For the 2023 closing season, clubgoers can look forward to another world-class spring and summer programming for the new year. The lineup has yet to be announced but fans can be guaranteed that the venue is set to host an unforgettable season finale to bid the iconic venue farewell.
