Blunts and Blondes Shares EDC Orlando Recap Following Sexual Assault Allegations
Amid current sexual assault allegations, Blunts and Blondes express gratitude towards fans who pulled up to the circuit grounds for his set.
Despite the sexual assault allegations made by Gabrielle Reinhardt on October 18th, Michael Guard aka Blunts and Blondes remained on the Circuit Grounds lineup for Electric Daisy Carnival Orlando 2022 (EDCO).
The bass artist came forward on Instagram to express his gratitude for those fans who did show up to his Saturday set at EDC Orlando. Blunts and Blonde shared “EDC Orlando thank y’all so f**king much! So much love to everyone who pulled up! ?”
Fans below in the comments of the Instagram post such as @nick_tanaka expressed “Nothing like getting your chest rattled by some blunts bass on a Saturday night.. love you champ”. Other Instagram fans such as @stormyschaff commented a nice little nudge to Blunts and Blondes to not be shy and post his set on Soundcloud.
To each their own, more information will be sought out once investigations and lawsuits from both parties emerge in the near future. Songwriter Moore Kismet has created perspective for the part of the EDM community that is defending Blunts and Blondes by pointing out the psychological manipulation behind pulling the “anyone who knows me card”.
Gabrielle has come out on Twitter to express how she will never regret being vulnerable, no matter who or what tries holding it against her. Moreover, she has shared “it breaks my heart how many girls have a similar story to me with the same person. my heart is broken. i am disgusted.”
Other artists like Griz have already pulled their collaborations with Blunts and Blondes off all streaming platforms to show support for Gabrielle Reinhardt. Furthermore, Griz has shown his support towards sexual abuse survivors by making it known that he will not tolerate sexual abuse allegations from anyone in the electronic music community.
Since the sexual assault allegations, Blunts and Blondes have kept a lowkey profile on Twitter. The male bass artist has remained inactive since October 17th.
