Kygo Makes Times Square Billboard Debut with Sweet Childhood Photo

Kygo drops his surprise fourth studio album, Thrill of The Chase’ as he graces the Times Square Billboard for the first time.

Norwegian top DJ, Kygo has finally landed a Times Square Billboard for the first time this week. Along with the release of his latest album, ‘Thrill Of The Chase’, he shared a post on Instagram to celebrate the momentous occasion.

Seen on the towering billboard was the album cover of ‘Thrill of The Chase’, which showed off a young Kygo on the piano against a black background. The popular DJ captioned the Instagram post with sentimental words to honor his father as well, “When my dad took this photo of me playing piano when I was 11, I never imagined it being on a billboard in Times Square.”

In the picture, Kygo was seen standing along the bustling streets of rainy Time Square, flashing a huge smile and looking radiant. The Instagram post saw overwhelming love from the fans and fellow musicians like Sam Feldt, Ryan Tedder, Victoria Nadine and James Gillespie. They expressed their heartiest congratulations for him and displayed their earnest support through hearts and fire emojis.

With 14 robust tracks, ‘Thrill of The Chase’ is Kygo’s fourth studio album and first full length project since his last release of ‘Golden Hour’ in 2020. He dropped the surprise album on November 11, just in time to gift the fans massive holiday cheer as we head into the festive period. With a stacked lineup of collaborators and featured artists like Dean Lewis, Plested, Gryffin, Lukas Graham, Calum Scott, and Emily Warren, ‘Thrill of The Chase’ pulls together a track list with something for everyone.
