Last month a woman came forward and shared her encounter with Mike Guard at Borgore’s Foam Wonderland event in 2019. When hanging out after the show Gabrielle Reinhardt claimed he inappropriately touched her without her consent and asked her to keep it a secret.

This accusation occurred when several other artists were under fire for sexual misconduct, including Mize, 12th Planet, and Mean Mug Music. It wasn’t soon after Blunts & Blondes released a statement negating these allegations. He ensured people these claims were “a game of online slander based on false narratives” and meant to ruin his career.

Blunts & Blondes has remained quiet and refrained from social media since this statement but is still technically on tour. However over five venues with stops including Cleveland, Knoxville, Boise, Anaheim, and Washington D.C. have canceled or postponed their booking with Guard.

In addition to the venues, his supporting acts Yookie, Space Wizard, Benda, and Drinkurwater abandoned the tour to separate their names from this controversial situation. Some artists like Griz have also taken a side and gone ahead removed their collaboration with Blunts & Blondes from all streaming platforms.

At this time, Blunts & Blondes is still slated to perform at EDC Orlando at Tinker Field on November 12th despite people’s calling for his replacement. Though this may be the last festival until the matter is resolved.
