G-REX and Buku Deliver Highly-Anticipated “Dual Continuum” EP Ahead of Massive Co-Headlining Tour

The 3-track project was officially released on WAKAAN and came out just in time for G-REX and BUKU’s headlining tour.

On October 28, G-Rex and Buku released their ‘Dual Continuum’ EP just in time for Halloween weekend. The 3-track project was released on WAKAAN, and is a compilation of the artist’s mastered production expertise. Last month, the first single of the EP “Collide” was released and it received an amazing response from the community. Now, the project comes with new songs “Exotic Matter” and “Fifth Dimension” which are fresh out of the studio. The EP as a whole explores a multitude of forward-thinking concepts, riddled with old-school hi-hats, rave breaks, and an equal amount of new-age behemoth bass.

Conjoined with the release of the EP, the two heavy hitters have just embarked on their ‘Dual Continuum’ tour. In addition to their headlining B2B performances, they will be joined by a rotating cast of support including Hairitage, Kumarion, Jon Casey, lyny, Super Future, and more.

One of the first stops on the tour was when the duo made an appearance at the WAKAAN Takeover. The takeover as held at the Avant Gardner, in New York. This was a big day not just for WAKAAN but for all of the artists on the bill. These artists included label head, Liquid Stranger, Jantsen B2B Ivboo, Shlump, Tripp St, Ravenscoon, Veil, Red Drum, and Tape B.

The tour is scheduled to run until the beginning of March 2023. The poster for the tour also entails potential new dates being added in the near future. If the EP and tour announcement aren’t enough for you, WAKAAN just released a promo mix for the upcoming tour available on Soundcloud.

My name is Sebastian Medina and I was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. Ever since I could remember, I have always been in love with dance music. I appreciate all genres and sub-genres but I definitely gravitate towards house and techno. Being from LA I was blessed with an amazing nightlife full of different artists coming in and out of town throughout the years. Some of my favorite artists include Seth Troxler, Michael Bibi, Mr.Carmack, PAWSA, and Folamour.
