Shlump Previews Forthcoming ‘Alien Shit Pt. 2 EP’ with Interstellar Lead Single “Strange Signal”

Shlump returns to WAKAAN with a slice of spacey alien-bass single “Strange Signal” to take the listeners into an immersive experience.

DJ producer, Shlump, is best known for his eclectic “Alien bass music” and his latest lead single, “Strange Signal” once again reflects his distinctive bass production. Taken from his forthcoming ‘Alien Shit Pt. 2’ EP, the latest cut takes on the freeform bass sound with an experienced technique.

Enriched with slow-burning energy from the very start, “Strange Signals” calls upon warped instrumentation and brooding synths, exuding a fire drum beat similar to a ticking clockwork. There is a flawless execution from the duo who places a strong emphasis on reinventing a more stripped-back sensibility into a smashing bass track.

It comes as no surprise that this lead single was inspired by Slump’s intense love for sound design and killer synth productions. He revealed that the inspiration of the track came from working “with a synth you know little about because you just turn nobs until you come across something that excites you.” As the lead single, this first track gives the listeners just a teasing glimpse into the propulsive energy that the rest of the EP will hold.

As Shlump continues to embark on his nationwide tour, the ‘Alien Trip Tour’, he will be bringing his shows to Chicago, Denver, Houston, and Florida, with more stops to be announced in the new year. During the first weekend of his tour stops in Orlando and Brooklyn this past weekend, Shlump brought the crowd into an unforgettable journey of pure euphoria as they were charged out with lively energy in an almost galaxy-like paradise inside the club.
