Kanye West Removed From At Least Two 2023 Festivals Due to Antisemitic Comments

Kanye West is denounced, debunked, and dismissed from 2023’s festival season due to antisemitic commentary.

It’s been a brutal downfall for the former hip-hop and fashion legend, Mr. Kanye West. Unless you live without Wi-Fi, under a rock, as a member of the Amish, or all three, you’ve probably heard word of Kanye’s antics. Ranging from unsolicited Pete Davidson barbecues to pontificating that slavery was “a choice,” to creating “White Lives Matter Shirts” for runway fashion shows, to antisemitic remarks about “death con 3 on JEWISH PEOPLE,” the list goes on…

Thankfully, many brands, organizations, and ex-wives have decided to drop the artist and disassociate from the chaos, madness, and blatant vitriol. Some of the brands that dropped Kanye included Adidas, Balenciaga, Creative Artists Agency, Cohen Clair Lans Greifer Thorpe & Rottenstreich (the law firm that represented Kanye during his divorce), Foot Locker, Gap, JPMorgan Chase, and company.

During Kanye’s exit from J.P. Morgan, he reportedly told CNN, “I’m moving my money over from J.P. Morgan to Bank of America, possibly because I go and move $140 million over to JPMorgan and [CEO] Jamie Dimon never calls me…”

Kanye must have misunderstood the assignment. As the top shop on Wall Street for Billionaires, the favored lender for multi-Billion-dollar corporations, and the most powerful and profitable bank in the world, J.P. Morgan could light 140 million dollars on literal fire and Jamie Dimon wouldn’t so much as stutter. Their assets under management are in the, you guessed it, trillions.

But the list doesn’t stop there – next up on the guillotine are festivals. In a statement released by Festival Owl, the media company spilled some serious tea: “Kanye was set to headline at least two major American festivals in 2023, but now [these slots have been] completely dropped after a continued string of antisemitism. One booking source [is] telling me ‘We are done with Kanye here. He is too problematic and too unreliable to ever put trust back into…’”

The company also commented, “And for those asking which events, yes, I know them — but they specifically asked not to be mentioned when providing the comment. He had played both previously, though.” Although the events remain unnamed (as made clear in this comment), Reddit will eventually tell all — and we’re looking forward to it!

For closing remarks, let us all remember the classic commentary from his unhinged interview with Piers Morgan. When moving the cursor to 2:10 Kanye muses, “…I have to raise my children differently because I am a person that’s classified as black. You know, I [actually] classify myself as Jew.”

In all honesty, Crazy Town is not crazy enough for this wild West of a creature. Also, the Jewish culture rules. The end!

Heralding from sunny South Florida, I am a proud Florida Woman. In my free time, I surf the swamp, wrangle gators, open fan mail, and tend to my pets. In the wild, I'm most often spotted at immersive art spaces, step tappin' in a shadowed corner of the club, hater blockerz on, totally incognito as your resident EDM spice girl. Although I generally tout my spicy side, if there's one thing I'd love to impress upon the world, it would be this: it's not a waste to give love to those who do not deserve it – it's a gift. The world would be a better place if we gave, in kindness and in mercy, to those who need it most with no expectation in return.
