Dirt Monkey DJs his Four-Year-Old Son’s Pre-School Career Day

Dirt Monkey jumped on Twitter to tell his 32 thousand followers he’s making his son’s career school day debut

On October 19, Dirt Monkey hopped on his Twitter account and told his 32.5k followers that he was going to throw down for his kid’s school career day. In the same tweet, he also asked his followers which of his songs he should play for them. Did we mention that his son’s school was for “a room full of 4-year-olds”?

Following the initial tweet, Dirt Monkey tweeted “Update it went really well & apparently I have a really cool job. I played some of the songs yall suggested too so thank you! Wish I could post videos”. As of now, no videos have surfaced of this rare performance. The only ones that could have footage from this set are the parents in the room or the preschool teacher. Maybe one day these videos will come to life, only time will tell.

Apart from Dirty Monkey’s preschool show, he’s been busy on the road this entire year. Throughout this year, Dirt Monkey made festival stops at Lost Lands, Moonrise, Global Dub, Wobbleland, and Illfest. One of Dirty Monkey’s most notable appearances was joining Subtronics on his ‘Fractal tour‘. During the ‘Fractal Tour’, Monkey played B2B shows with fellow bass DJ, Boogie T.

As for the rest of the year, Dirty Monkey has some big upcoming shows. On October 30, he’ll be at Freaky Deaky in Houston, Texas. On November 19, he’ll be in good old sin city, Las Vegas, at Excision’s ‘High Roller’. Lastly, on December 30, Monkey will travel to Salt Lake City, Utah to appear at Saturnalia for New Years weekend.

Lastly, be sure to stay up to date with Dirt Money for new upcoming music and show announcements!

My name is Sebastian Medina and I was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. Ever since I could remember, I have always been in love with dance music. I appreciate all genres and sub-genres but I definitely gravitate towards house and techno. Being from LA I was blessed with an amazing nightlife full of different artists coming in and out of town throughout the years. Some of my favorite artists include Seth Troxler, Michael Bibi, Mr.Carmack, PAWSA, and Folamour.
