Rezz Reveals Second ‘Nightmare on Rezz Street Mix’ with 12 New IDs

DJ and producer Rezz sets the tone for Hypnovizion’s first Halloween with her own personal twist on the meaning of spooky.

This is no trick! Our beloved bass queen Rezz has given us the spookiest Halloween treat to look forward to. Rezz tweeted on October 11th that she would release an audio and visual mix of twelve unreleased IDs.

The last time that fans received a ‘Nightmare on Rezz Street’ mix was in 2018. This is exciting news as Rezz will be releasing ‘Nightmare on Rezz Street 2’ with her new label Hypnovizion. The label has released one teaser video (the first of many?) via Twitter of what to expect for this audio and visual mix.

“Teaser 1: Carousel scene” starts with an eerie shot zooming into Rezz’s alter ego holding a carousel that is simultaneously rotating with her infamous spinning goggles. The camera slowly looms inside the carousel slowly spinning with the beat as it progressively builds a simmering fear of excitement.

Loyal Twitter fans such as Jack (@Optiima) sarcastically commented “not creepy at all” to emphasize how the audio and visual pair make an eerie vibe. Other “Rezzbians” fans could not resist breaking out this exciting news other than sharing their reactions via memes

Those who will be attending the Red Rocks show two days after the release are in for a taunting treat, and maybe a bunch of tricks. Rezz has already let her fans attending the two-day Red Rocks show know that this release will not be a spoiler for the Red Rocks show two days after.

Bravo to the Hypnovizion team! ‘Nightmare on Rezz Street Mix’ will be released via Hypnovizion on October 25th. The bass producer will be making appearances through the end of the year at festivals such as Electric Daisy Carnival Orlando, BOO! Seattle, and HiJinx festival.

Yoooo, the homies call me Marz. I am a multidimensional Piscean Latina fairy from Miami-Dade County (no, not Florida). Electronic music has allowed me to appreciate the profound beauty that can be found in finding peace within the chaos. Artists such as Rezz, Skrillex, John Summit, Michael Bibi, and Amtrac blend the two seamlessly, creating a harmonious balance that resonates with me whenever I am on the dancefloor. When I am writing about electronic music, I feel this same balance of peace and chaos moving through me - starting in my hips, filling my heart, and radiating out from my soul. The power of music has brought me to this exact moment, and I only desire that you feel the warmth of the sun through my words.

What's your reaction?
