Going to the club is out and warehouse parties are in thanks to DEF Global.

It isn’t often Atlanta gets a solid warehouse rave, but the organizers at DEF Global pulled off a successful two-day event called The Offline Project featuring a wide range of artists like Mize, Mija, Wuki, Truth, Chris Lorenzo, A-Trak, Troyboi, and more. Out in Bankhead, Atlanta the setup was well organized with a unique space featuring two stage areas, a VIP section, merch, food trucks, and even a harm reduction zone.

For those with VIP access, there was a private bar and bathrooms while the rest of the venue had enough space for people to enjoy themselves without being claustrophobic. Aside from the logistics, DEF Global went a step further to incorporate details like sick art installations and hiring matching stage dancers to interact with the crowd.

Throughout the night the artists transitioned seamlessly with the help of the DEF stage crew to keep the party going. You could tell the amount of planning put into the event reflected in the overall good vibes that radiated off the attendees and the artists. We were even lucky enough to run into a DEF crew member who blessed us with free drink tickets.

Just as we got our drinks the night began to heat up and our insides started to fill with college nostalgia hearing A-Trak’s remix of “Heads Will Roll”. A-Trak was the perfect warm-up the crowd needed before starting the real party with Chris Lorenzo.

We found our way to the perfect VIP spot on the balcony overlooking the whole venue and danced our hearts out until it was time to shift gears. As we exited off the house music rollercoaster, Troyboi hit the decks to give the people what they came for.

This city is home to a large trap music community and Troyboi playing all his classics like “Back to the Wall”, “Afterhours”, and “Sneaky” felt more than fitting for the Atlanta scene. Troyboi also played out newer tracks like “Red Eye” with Justin Bieber and his latest spicy release, “Dale”.

It’s always a fun show when Troyboi is in the house making the crowd feel gangster and sexy all at the same time with his musical style. He brought the vibes and the energy that pushed everyone to show out their best dance moves.

All in all, DEF Global not only put on a stellar event but is contributing to the unique culture and scene of electronic music in Atlanta. This event was all about bringing good people and good beats together in a safe and dope space.

An Atlanta gal chasing her love for electronic dance music. I’ve been with Exron since 2018 and have the privilege of contributing to the culture alongside other badass women whom I now call my friends. My introduction to the scene was first influenced by trap music, but my discography has since expanded to touch a bit of everything. Some of my favorite artists are Zeds Dead, Cloonee, Nghtmre, Flume, Infekt, Sosa, Bleu Clair, Subtronics, but the list goes on forever.
