Gammer Gets Emotional On Stage Following Sexual Assault Allegations

Gammer broke down in tears during an emotional set at Knockout Outdoor in Australia after facing backlash over sexual assault allegations last December.

Gammer was accused of sexual assault along with Trampa and 12th Planet by an EDM photographer known as grim on December 2nd, 2021. Grim accused Gammer of sexually assaulting her at Hard Summer 2019. The posts on both Instagram and Twitter have since been taken down, and although all three of the accused producers have continued to play shows some of their fans have stopped attending and their credibility has taken a hit.

Gammer played a set to around 50,000 people at Knockout Outdoor recently where he got very emotional on stage and cried. At the time he said in an Instagram post: “Truth is, It’s been an extremely difficult couple of years for me. Various people have told me I have no worth as an artist and I was terrified to perform on such a big stage.” He then followed up by saying “I really feel like I connected with each and every single one of you, and I feel like I’ve gotten a piece of myself back.”

The set Gammer played at Knockout was the first time he had performed a mainstage to that many people since the allegations first came out. It also happened to fall on his birthday which seemingly made it extra special for him. During his set Villian emerged and got the whole crowd to sing happy birthday to Gammer.

Gammer Emotional Sexual Assault

Following his set in his hotel room, Gammer posted an almost four-minute-long video explaining how much the set meant to him. He began crying during the video a few times and was clearly very emotional about the ordeal. He said in the video “It’s been a really hard few years and I really need this.” He continued on to talk about how he never thought hardstyle could be a mainstage sound but now he is so inspired to continue to make more.
