NGHTMRE Fuses Two Album Singles in Immersive Sci-Fi Music Video
NGHTMRE Has Released an Audio-Visual Album and Tour for His Anticipated Project ‘Drmvrse’
Following the September release of his audio-visual debut album ‘DRMVRSE‘, LA-based eclectic DJ and label owner NGHTMRE has officially released his most cinematic video yet. The video incorporates the album tracks, “Fear” and “Love”. The visual project portrays an out-of-this-world experience with both beautiful and psychedelic effects and visual storytelling. The entire video gives the audience a more in-depth view into the world of DRMVRSE.
The video takes place in an alternate reality setting with the main two main characters, Julien and Dani. Right off the bat, the video starts off fast with two characters in a high-speed space chase. Throughout the high-intensity chase, they try their best to lose their attackers through various twists and turns. As the chase intensifies, their ship gets consumed by a large creature and they quickly are transported to a throne-like setting of a high being. This high power says “Fear is not real. It can only exist in our minds when we think of what lies ahead…Fear is a choice,” and with these words, “Fear” ends and “Love” begins.
Shortly after, the two protagonists wake up to being back in the chase, this time physically in person and not in their subconscious. What happens next, well, you’ll just have to watch the video below and find out for yourself.
NGHTMRE’s, ‘DRMVRSE’, was created over the past four years. Additionally, the debut, full-length album is a multi-genre compilation of both NGHTMRE’s signature sound and variance as an artist. The project also incorporates a Neurotech company named Treadsoft that discovers a sonic frequency called Unsound. This helps lead one through gateways and other physical planes of existence, known as the “DRMVRSE.”

Finally, to supplement the entire ‘DRMVRSE’ project, NGHTMRE decided to add a tour to take both the album and visual elements to a whole new level. The tour started this past summer with stops at two iconic venues, Red Rocks Amphitheater and the Brooklyn Mirage. With 6 big stops remaining, NGHTMRE fans are growing with anticipation as the tour comes to a city near them.
