Watch Madeon Showcase His Dark Side at Lost Lands

Madeon delivers a historic genre-bending Lost Lands set featuring various types of live mashups, artists, and remixes.

Lost Lands festival has successfully saluted off its sixth year in the holy dimension that is Legend Valley, Ohio. This year, renowned producer Hugo Pierre Leclercq, famously known as Madeon, ventured into the prehistoric lost land with a treat waiting to be unveiled for his fans (wearing his iconic “Sex, (D)rugs, and Dubstep shirt of course).

The French artist delivered a bass-fueled set Saturday night featuring a 57-track list in the course of one legendary hour. Those in attendance at the Wompy Woods stage experienced a once-in-a-lifetime set with a golden easter egg list of various types of artists, live mixes, and mashups.

Fans quickly made it to Twitter to react to the historic “DINO MADEON” Lost Lands set. Madeon was joyous to project his joy on Twitter to fan’s reactions to the mashups and live mixes he left including Kayzo, G Jones & Eprom, Eliminate, Champagne Drip, ISOxo, Shadient, Deathpact, and more.

There is a passionate light that unveils confidence through the curious experimentation of Madeon’s electronic craft. The talented producer is not afraid to test the waters of his craft by including various types of upcoming and familiar artists such as Blanke, Tame Impala, Kanye West, Tyler The Creator, and Fred Again.

Madeon remains in his Good Faith era embodying a darker curiosity that automatically separates his music as a “bass artist”. This ability to question and cultivate his art further as an exploratory and open-minded producer brings it full circle for Hugo’s historic set at Lost Lands 2022.

The rest of the 2022 year is in for a big bang for Madeon as he finishes off his Good Faith tour at popular upcoming festivals such as Miami for iii Points and in Mexico City for Corona Capital Festival. The renowned electronic producer will also be performing in Indonesia; Costa Mesa, California; Denver, Colorado; and finally in San Francisco, California for the New Year’s Eve countdown slot for Fresh Start Festival.

Yoooo, the homies call me Marz. I am a multidimensional Piscean Latina fairy from Miami-Dade County (no, not Florida). Electronic music has allowed me to appreciate the profound beauty that can be found in finding peace within the chaos. Artists such as Rezz, Skrillex, John Summit, Michael Bibi, and Amtrac blend the two seamlessly, creating a harmonious balance that resonates with me whenever I am on the dancefloor. When I am writing about electronic music, I feel this same balance of peace and chaos moving through me - starting in my hips, filling my heart, and radiating out from my soul. The power of music has brought me to this exact moment, and I only desire that you feel the warmth of the sun through my words.
