Acraze’s Viral Track “Do It To It” Achieves Platinum and Gold Across 19 Countries

Hitting platinum and gold throughout 19 countries was unexpected for “Do It To It,” reaching a new pinnacle for Acraze. 

Acraze’s trending song, “Do It To It,” rose to unimaginable heights, climbing to platinum and gold throughout 19 countries. The Staten Island native wanted to be a DJ ever since his senior year in high school. Since then Acraze has been pursuing his producing dreams releasing his first single “Pull Up” in 2017.

Now his recent hit single, “Dot It To It,” took him from one show a month to collaborating with the world’s hottest DJs. Acraze shared the joyous moment of unveiling the plaque for his single via Instagram. “Half a billion plays on @spotify Platinum in 7 countries & Gold in 12 countries. This is fucking unreal.. ? thank you do it to it, ” his post captioned. 

Initially, he released the track on August 20, 2021. Later that year, after playing the song at a New Year’s Eve show, he was bombarded with hundreds of DM’s the following day. Therefore, enabling him to lock down a three-track deal signing “Do It To It,” with Thrive Music. 

As a result, the song skyrocketed being remixed by Subtronics, Habstrakt, and most notably “The God Father of EDM,” Tiesto. Acraze and Tiesto collaborated on a music video for the song. The video highlights Acraze playing his first show with Tiesto in London on February 3, 2022, and the stops along the way. 

Tiesto commented on his IG post, “Congrats brother!! Well deserved!!???,” truly solidifying his global dance hit. The sample was taken from a 2006 Crunk&B song, “Do It To It,” by Atlanta-based all-girl group Cherish. The track featured hip hop artist Sean Paul, off their debut album, ‘Unappreciated.’ 

Moreover, the success of “Do It To It” has propelled this young DJ’s career with no end in sight. Acraze is on tour with a strew of dates in Canada and the US. He not only celebrated his song’s success but made way for the next single to drop. He released “Believe,” featuring Good Boys out now on streaming platforms.
