Watch Lost Lands Phone Thief Caught on Video

A man who has been stealing phones for years from attendees at Excision’s festival Lost Lands is caught on video at this year’s event.

Lost Lands phone thief, who has reportedly been stealing phones since as early as 2019, is caught on video. Lost Lands is one of the best dubstep festivals in the United States, but among bass heads, there are those who simply attend to steal phones. This issue is present at many other festivals but this time many people got to see the person themselves get caught on video.

The video that was shared on Twitter shows the phone thief sitting down and the man who caught him who stepped forward as Ty Wertz. Ty is shown telling the man to “be quiet” and “no more” in Spanish after the unidentified thief says “sorry.” The video can be watched below showing the exchange between the two men.

In the video, you can hear people in the background wondering what is going on and someone throws stuff at the thief. Many people stepped forward in the Twitter replies stating this man has been stealing phones for many years. One woman even shared that this was the same man that was caught stealing at Legend Valley just last year.

As of now, there is not much more news about what happened to this man after this video was taken. It remains unknown if the man has been arrested or if he was just kicked out of the venue. More anecdotes about the thief stealing from others at the festival continue to surface.

It will be interesting to see if the festival shares any plans to ensure this man and other people who are caught stealing will be prevented from returning. For now, kudos to the man for stopping the thief, and regardless of this incident, everyone had a memorable time at Lost Lands.
