Deadmau5 Hilariously Trolls Peekaboo During Livestream

Deadmau5 hopped into the chat during Peekaboo’s stream to roast him for using OTT

Deadmau5 joined the chat during one of Peekaboo‘s latest live streams to roast him in front of his fans about using OTT. Peekaboo posted the clip on Instagram laughing about Deadmau5 calling him out. He said, “I’ve been caught streams over I gotta be done” after Deadmau5 left a comment saying ” I wonder if OTT has escaped anything in the last five years.” Peekaboo admitted he does use OTT too much even going as far as saying “I know I’m bad.”

OTT is a plugin used mainly by dubstep producers to help their sounds stand out more. OTT stands for over-the-top compression. It is a compression technique that uses extreme upward and downward compressions to create a unique audio effect.

In October 2019, Peekaboo released his official remix of Strobe by Deadmau5. The almost eight-minute-long remix has received hundreds of thousands of views across many different streaming platforms since its release in 2019.

Peekaboo is currently on tour all across the United States with varying support depending on the show. Some of the shows will feature support from artists like Chee, Jantsen, and Digital Ethos. He will be playing at major venues this fall like Echostage in Washington D.C. and Webster Hall in New York City.

Deadmau5 has an absolutely insane tour lined up for this fall playing at massive venues like Red Rocks, Bill Graham Civic Center, and Toyota Music Factory. Deadmau5 and Kaskade are playing a Kx5 at the LA Coliseum early this December.
