Svdden Death Surprises Lost Lands with Tech House Debut

Is Svdden Death adding a house music alias to his portfolio?

When Svdden Death broke into the scene he shook up the dubstep genre with his unique sound that sent artists across the board trying to imitate his style. Though Svdden Death is no one trick pony and has since developed his other alias, VOYD, into a whole persona that gets wilder every show.

The one thing about Danny Howland is that he is 100% dedicated to his craft and his art. He is even throwing his very first festival on October 21-22 called the Summoning of the Eclipse at the Caverns in Pelham, Tennessee. The lineup includes big hitters like Eptic, Wooli, Space Laces, ATLiens, Sullivan King, and more.

Aside from his curated festival, Svdden Death played a shocking performance at Lost Lands and is gearing up for his European VOYD debut at Rampage. During his Lost Lands performance, he made a midway switch from Svdden Death into VOYD, but also made another appearance during Wooli’s set to play something a smidge different.

To everyone’s surprise Svdden Death turned a corner to play out some tech house for the bass heads. Fur coat and all, it might be time to add a third alias to Danny’s portfolio. Check out the clip below.

Always keeping the fans on their toes, Svdden Death continues to develop his artistry in every way from his music, production, wardrobe, and skills like fire breathing to add flair to his performances. Between us, we can’t wait for tech-house Danny to infiltrate the scene.

I’ve been with Exron since 2018 and have the privilege of contributing to the culture alongside other badass women whom I now call my friends. My introduction to the scene was first influenced by trap music, but my discography has since expanded to touch a bit of everything. Some of my favorite artists are Zeds Dead, Cloonee, Nghtmre, Flume, Infekt, Sosa, Bleu Clair, Subtronics, but the list goes on forever.
