WAKAAN Music Festival Unites Bass Music Leaders for Sophomore Edition
The second edition of WAKAAN Music Festival is set to take place this weekend at Mulberry Mountain in Ozark, AR
WAKAAN Music Festival is making its return for year two at Mulberry Mountain. Liquid Stranger and his WAKAAN imprint are bringing together some of the biggest names in bass music for the festival. There will be stage takeovers from Deep, Dark, and Dangerous, GRL Gang, Morflo Records, and Street Ritual.
The festival pre-party kicked off with a stacked lineup that included Liquid Stranger b2b LSDream, Minnesota, Shlump, Notixx, Ravenscoon, and Tape B. For those who weren’t able to make it to the pre-party the weekend is still stacked full of wildly talented producers.
Some of the acts to look out for are two different sets from Liquid Stranger, Clozee, LSDream and his lightcode set, Truth, and Mr. Carmack Sunset set. For any attendees looking for some drum and bass, they won’t want to miss Kumarion b2b Reaper. The lineup is also stacked full of up-and-coming artists like A Hundred Drums, Veil, Smoakland, Tvboo, Wreckno, and Zingara.
There will also be a special comedy takeover from TVBOO featuring some of his favorite stand-up comedians. TVBOO has asked fans to leave their phones behind and not record any videos during these sets. He wants fans to just sit back and enjoy the sets while also keeping his fellow comedians’ acts a secret.
There will be sets going on from early in the afternoon until just after sunrise each day. There will be tons of other interactive events for fans to take part in. Sully will be hosting a “pointers for producers” event with Ahee and Subdocta. Another event for fans to take part in is yoga with Luczid on Saturday morning.
For those who are able to attend this year’s festival stay safe, drink lots of water, and look out for your friends. To whoever couldn’t make this year’s festival keep a lookout for the 2023 announcement it is sure to be a festival bass music lovers won’t want to miss.
