Minimal Effort x Detroit Love Host Seth Troxler and Carl Craig for a Special B2B Set in LA

Detroit’s Seth Troxler And Carl Craig Went B2B In LA For An Extended 4-hour Performance

On September 23, two of Detroit’s finest artists, Seth Troxler, and Carl Craig, took over the historic Mayan Theater in Downtown, LA for a 4-hour extended set. The event was put together by Minimal Effort and Carl Craig’s, Detroit Love. Detroit Love is designed to bring together and support the sounds of Detroit. It’s also meant to bring the techno brotherhood to clubs and festivals all around the world. Bringing the sounds of Detroit is exactly what both men did on Friday night. 

Secondly, the Minimal Effort received support from acts such as Human Resources and a live performance from Inner City. This was the first time Inner City was back in LA in nearly a decade. All of the acts made for an incredible evening and one that the city of Los Angeles won’t forget.

This past summer, Seth has been busy playing shows all around the world. He just finished playing at several major festivals such as Creamfields, Sunwaves, Lightning in a Bottle, and Splash House among many others. He also made several appearances for his Circoloco residency at Ibiza’s famous, DC10. Seth played several Monday nights in addition to many other stops around the island at clubs like Amnesia and Hï Ibiza. 

As for Carl Craig, his summer schedule has been no different. The Detroit legend has been keeping busy with his Detroit Love project. Throughout the summer Detroit Love made stops in Barcelona, Croatia, Los Angeles and most importantly, Detroit. In addition to these shows, Craig also performed at DC10’s Circoloco, EDC Las Vegas, Hï Ibiza, Brooklyn Mirage and many more.

All in all, the two Detroit legends are masters of their craft and fans can’t wait until the two of them come together on the decks again. Until then, you can catch both of them on the road staying busy until the end of the year.
