Hardwell Finalizes Monumental Comeback with New Album ‘REBELS NEVER DIE’
Hardwell remains a leader as one of dance music’s most iconic figures with the mission to evolve, not repeat.
Since Hardwell’s historical return to the electronic music scene at Ultra Music Festival in March 2022, he has unveiled all of the magic he has been saving up sleeves for the past four years. When the electronic dance pioneer made his triumphant return to the stage, fans became abundant with joy as Hardwell announced that he was going to release a brand new album and go on a world tour.
Hardwell’s hiatus opened the doors for the artist to commit to his work from a different light by exploring himself with complete creative freedom. The legendary artist was able to make his new album ‘REBELS NEVER DIE’ by getting back into his musical roots rediscovering his old vinyl collection and listening to his favorite childhood tunes.
The lyrics “Live life to the fullest, don’t be afraid to die, legends live forever, but rebels never die” carry chaotic energy that inspires fans to live with the philosophy that Hardwell has held for himself. Furthermore, ‘REBELS NEVER DIE’ inherently teach fans to be bold in their convictions as an artist with 100% no fear.
‘REBELS NEVER DIE’ combines early hard trance riffs with the energy of his big room sound and techno-Esque musical structure. Hardwell shares “I hate to be caught up in one particular genre. I always try to make music I love to play out. I don’t consider myself a mainstream artist, techno, or big room artist, I consider myself Hardwell, and this is what Hardwell is. If it’s not a genre, it’s not a genre; it’s just me.”
The electronic King is coming back to touring with the purpose to show fans who he truly is. The North American leg of the REBELS NEVER DIE world tour will finish off in San Francisco on September 24th and start back up at the beginning of October in Valinhos, Brazil. More information can be found on his official tour website.
Embark on the beautiful journey this album is sure to take you.
