Exron Exclusive Interview: Cristoph at Electric Zoo 2022

Cristoph has become an absolute staple in the dance music scene in recent years. The Newcastle-based producer has famously released on DFTD, Defected Records’ breakout label, and supported Eric Prydz at sold-out shows across the globe.

This year, Cristoph launched his own label called Consequences of Society. We obviously had to discuss how he arrived at such a cryptic yet inspiring namesake. We also learned about the direction he plans to take the label in, both short-term and long-term.

Cristoph is an innovator in many facets. He seems to have big plans for the future of his career as well as an idea about what the future of electronic music might look like. We were eager to speak to the artist and share his latest (and upcoming) career ventures with fans. Watch our exclusive interview with Cristoph below!

I've been a part of the dance music scene for nearly a decade and with Exron for more than half of that time. My first event was Diplo's Mad Decent but these days you'll find me at Club Space or the Brooklyn Mirage. Some of my top artists are G Jones, Tipper, Of The Trees, and CharlestheFirst. My favorite genres are techno, experimental bass, and ambient but I'll get down to anything with a beat!

What's your reaction?
