Louis the Child Posts Burning Man Set as Techno-Leaning Side Project Black Marble

Louis the Child posts an incredible set from Burning Man as their brand new techno-leaning side project, Black Marble.

DJ duo Louis the Child recently debuted their techno-leaning side project Black Marble at The Brooklyn Mirage. They later went on to return as “Black Marble” at Burning Man in the desert last week.

Louis the Child’s alter-ego, Black Marble, was ironically announced at their massive Alter-Ego show in New York. Black Marble still consists of Robby and Fred, but the music will be more techno-inspired and the show includes all new visuals.

Louis The Child is the internationally acclaimed DJ duo comprised of Robby Hauldren and Frederic J. Kennett, who have been an integral part of the music industry for about 10 years. The duo started performing together at small venues in 2013 and 2014 and finally got their big break in 2015. Their single “It’s Strange” was their first hit as it was praised by Taylor Swift and was featured on the FIFA 16 soundtrack.

Following their rise in 2015, the duo went on tour the same year, opening for artists such as Madeon and The Chainsmokers. More recently, they’ve been on a string of headlining festival performances, including Dancefestopia, Governor’s Ball, and Electric Forest

While Louis The Child’s Alter-Ego set in Brooklyn allowed them to showcase their brand new project, it also enabled them to elevate some of the most sought-after up-and-coming acts in EDM today. These included Evan Giia, Shallou, and Said The Sky, among others. The show focused on creativity and imagination as the artists pushed musical boundaries.

With millions of streams worldwide, Louis The Child is continuing to prove why they remain on top. Their new project will only put them further on your radar. Check out their Black Marble set from Burning Man below:
