Listen to Seven Lions’ Second Single from Forthcoming Studio Album “Call On Me”

Check out the second single, “Call On Me,” from Seven Lions’ upcoming highly anticipated studio album out this fall. 

Seven Lions announced the release of “Call on Me“, the second single off his debut full-length LP this past week. After a decade of creating EPs, remixes, and singles igniting the dance world, Seven Lions is finally dropping a studio album. Initially bouncing on the music radar in 2010, since then he has captured the attention and admiration of fans globally.

Towards the end of August, Seven Lions enticed Instagram followers with a notification of the second single, “Call on Me.” The post captioned, “Single 2 from Beyond the Veil – Call On Me featuring the incredibly talented @vancouversleepclinic is out this Friday.” Many fans expressed their excitement for the new song to stream on September 2nd. 

One follower commented, “an absolute work of art. So beautiful and transcending. I smiled the entire time I listened to it.” The single is a whimsical collaboration featuring the vocal stylings of Vancouver Sleep Clinic. The song unfolds with a soft serenade of lyricism, bursting into an uptempo beat filtrating a glitchy ambiance. 

The second lead single comes ahead of his upcoming album, ‘Beyond the Veil,’ which is set to release on October 21st. Of course, Seven Lions‘ debut album will be out on his very own label, Ophelia Records founded in 2018. During the summer he erased all his socials, throwing fans for a loop. Then announced his forthcoming album via a cryptic post on July 18th causing quite an uproar. 

Shortly after revealing the first single, ‘Every Time,” on July 29th, featuring So Below. The song starts with a trippy aquatic beat bleeding into his signature bass sound. Simultaneously blending the vocals of So Below, building to a climax of a grand explosion of sound. Encapsulating the true magic of his creative sound, setting the stage for a prolific album. 

In the meantime, these two singles are lifting the curtain for a sneak peek of ‘Beyond the Veil.’ He will be on tour this year in support of the album. Most recently he played “Call On Me” for the first time live at the North Coast Music Festival. Frankly, the energy foreshadows what’s to come.
