Killthenoise Announces Massive Remix Contest with Cash Prizes
Killthenoise has teamed up with Ophelia Records and Audius for an Official Remix Contest of his song ‘Turn On The Lights’
Killthenoise posted a video on Instagram earlier this week announcing the remix contest with Ophelia Records and Audius. The Contest features cash prizes for the top three winners first place will receive $500, second place $250, and third place $100. The winners will also each get an Ophelia Records hoodie and a Killthenoise T-shirt.
The track that will be remixed is ‘Turn On The Lights’ by Killthenoise with Trent Monroe, JUST DUE, and Spencer Ludqig. The track was featured on Killthenoises album Embrace which was released on Ophelia Records earlier this year.
To enter the contest producers will need to upload their remixes onto Audius and tag it as a remix to the track. The post on Instagram reveals the Key: Cm and BPM: 150 as the only stipulations for the contest. Otherwise, producers will be free to remix the track however they would like. The contest is running from 8/16-8/30 so there is still plenty of time for producers to make their submissions.
Audius is a relatively new streaming platform that is working to give up-and-coming producers a space to release their music without being signed to a label. They offer a variety of features including remix contests, pages for artists to share stems, playlists made by the artists, and many other features.
Killthenoise has been quite busy since he released his album Embrace at the end of March 2022. Following the release of Embrace, he went on tour across the United States playing in major cities like Washington D.C. New York City, Los Angeles, and many more cities. Fans will be able to see Killthenoise at festivals like Lost Lands and BOO! Seattle later this year.
Producers won’t want to miss the opportunity to have their remix tracks in the spotlight. So producers make sure to upload your tracks to Audius and tag the remix competition. Fans should stay tuned to listen to the winner’s tracks after 8/30.
