Defected Records Hosts Insane Stage Takeover at We Are FSTVL London
Festival goers of We Are FSTVL London were blown away by the astounding presence of the Defected Records set.
Defected Records took center stage at We Are FSTVL in London this month at Damyns Hall Aerodrome Essex. The two-day festival includes other significant labels such as Glitterbox, Afterlife, and Solid Grooves. In fact, the festival was established in 2013 by Steve Durham and Reece Miller. Since the festival’s debut, the number of attendees has increased each year.
This year, Defected Records showcased their primary talent on Sunday, August 7th at one of the UK’s most beloved festivals. Simon Dunmore founded the label in 1999 establishing it as one of the longest-running independent house labels in the UK. The crowd grooved to Ferreck Dawn, Jess Bays, John Summit, Low Steppa, Monki, and Sonny Fodera.

Gazing into the crowd during John Summit‘s set, all that can be seen is a vast sea of people swaying as the beats fill the air. Not to mention, trailblazer Jess Bays truly set the vibe for her performance. She shared her gratitude and elation on social media alongside clips from her live show.
UK’s own Low Steppa shared the Defected Stage, most def one of the crispiest house producers as of yet with his fresh sets, always bringing the heat. The crowd was feeling the grooves he was throwing down. The true wizardry of Sonny Fodera ignited festival goers with his smooth technical beats.
