Carnage a.k.a. Gordo Says He “Almost Died” and Urges Fans to Wear Their Helmet

Gordo releases photos of an intense accident leading up to summer shows.

Just days ago, Gordo posted pictures on his Instagram of a horrific accident he encountered. It’s not confirmed how the accident happened or what caused it at this point. Subsequently, in the photos you can see several scrapes and burns to his body. Sections of his limbs are now wrapped in medical bandages.

The announcement said “I almost died last night” followed by “so now I think it’s time I make an announcement about all of my shows in Europe this weekend.” It seems like nothing is holding him back from fulfilling his show obligations. Following the accident, Gordo emphasized “Protect Gordo at all costs”, which is a common saying recently.

Furthermore, he posted text message screenshots between him and his manager, Adam Richman. The messages show his managers concern for his upcoming shows and urges the producer to rest. However, Gordo says he can fight through his injuries and perform his upcoming shows in Europe and the US.

This summer, Gordo is making several big appearances from Electric Zoo to Amnesia to Pazuzu. However, the two big shows that standout from the rest are Space Miami and Pershing Square in Los Angeles. Both of these shows are not just massive headlining slots, but they are in two of the biggest cities in the US.

Space Miami is known for it’s long after hour shows, and Gordo is one to keep the party going until the sun comes up. Back in January 2020, Carnage and Diplo went B2B for a 10 hour set at Space during Superbowl weekend. This upcoming show on August 19 will be Gordo’s official Space Miami debut.

Last but not least, Gordo will be playing a 5 hour set at Pershing Square in Downtown Los Angeles on August 20. This will be the last show in the iconic plaza before it undergoes a lengthy remodel making this show all the more special. Earlier this year, Jamie Jones and Hot Since 82 have also hosted shows in Pershing Square. This weekend will definitely be one for the books for Miami, LA and Gordo fans worldwide.

My name is Sebastian Medina and I was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. Ever since I could remember, I have always been in love with dance music. I appreciate all genres and sub-genres but I definitely gravitate towards house and techno. Being from LA I was blessed with an amazing nightlife full of different artists coming in and out of town throughout the years. Some of my favorite artists include Seth Troxler, Michael Bibi, Mr.Carmack, PAWSA, and Folamour.
