Jason Ross Unveils Sophomore Album ‘Atlas’ with Stacked List of Artist Features
Jason Ross further marks his place in the world of melodic bass, dance-pop, and trance with the release of ‘Atlas’ via Ophelia Records
Jason Ross first made his presence known in the melodic dance community with the release of his debut album ‘1000 Faces in 2020. Since then, the Anjunabeats label and Ophelia Records artist has gained a creative spotlight in the electronic scene with popular collaborations with renowned artists such as Slander, Seven Lions, and Gryffin.
The intentional creation and anticipating deliverance of Jason Ross’ sophomore LP ‘Atlas’ will ultimately mark the next step in his evolution as a headline artist. The final single off of the album, “Ghost Town” (released July 1st), has already been added to Sirius BPM’s rotation.
The album surpasses the superficiality of just a title, it is in fact the embodiment of Jason Ross himself. The name of the record ‘Atlas’ relates to Jason’s personal subbrand and concept–idea of connectedness and common ground across genres and fans.
The 10-track album shows personal growth from a song perspective, featuring a wide range of powerful vocalists and inspirational artists such as HOLT (Fanny Hultman), David Frank, Chandler Leighton, and Your Friend Polly. ‘Atlas’ will feature debut collaborations with artists such as MitiS and Grant, and scene-leading returning artists such as HALIENE, Dia Frampton, and RUNN.
Every powerful lyric showcased in ‘Atlas’ will inspire the rise of each melodic breath flowing with every hooky vocal building up to the gravitational drop. The captivating sound and pull on the soulful lyrics in conjunction with the heavenly production will continue Jason Ross’ crossover success amongst the worlds of melodic bass, dance-pop, dubstep, and trance.
The new album release will be joined by a 30-day headline tour, featuring his biggest show to date at the Hollywood Palladium. The tour will include major city destinations such as Atlanta, Houston, and Denver, including shows being left as a surprise in between.
