How old is John Summit?

John Summit celebrates an epic birthday weekend in his hometown of Chicago, but how old did he turn?

John Summit has taken over the house music scene by storm with his whole MO focused on the good vibes only. The king of airport beers has spent the entire year playing around the globe, and the party isn’t stopping anytime soon.

This past weekend Summit celebrated his birthday playing in Toronto, Canada at Osheaga Music and Arts Festival and in his home of Chicago, IL at Lollapalooza. The hometown hero absolutely showed out for his close friends and family for the first time ever on the big stage.

As a birthday gift to himself, Summit upgraded from middle seat economy class to flying in style on a private jet. Seemingly living like he is forever 21, exactly how old is John Summit anyway? After some digging, our investigators found an old birthday post from 2020 on Instagram.

He captions, “Another year older today! not gonna say how old i really am but if anyone has a good health insurance plug plz lmk”. By our calculations, if Summit was kicked off his parents’ health insurance in 2020 making him 26 at the time, then we can confirm he turned 28 this year.

John Summit’s age has been a running joke for quite some time. He explained when he was first starting out people would ask him his age and he would reply that he was 15. Last year his friends kept the joke alive throwing him a “sweet 16” birthday party.

Released on this year’s birthday, Summit dropped his hottest track ever called, “What A Life” featuring Stevie Appleton. The accompanying lyric video is a compilation of highlights showing Summit living life his best life on stage in clubs and festivals around the world. Check it out below.

I’ve been with Exron since 2018 and have the privilege of contributing to the culture alongside other badass women whom I now call my friends. My introduction to the scene was first influenced by trap music, but my discography has since expanded to touch a bit of everything. Some of my favorite artists are Zeds Dead, Cloonee, Nghtmre, Flume, Infekt, Sosa, Bleu Clair, Subtronics, but the list goes on forever.
