Solomun’s Set at Tomorrowland Canceled After Complications Made it “Impossible”

Solomun made a heartbreaking announcement that his set at Tomorrowland was canceled due to complications.

Bosnia and Herzegovina-born DJ Solomun shocked fans with the announcement that his set at Tomorrowland had to be canceled due to circumstances that made it impossible.

The announcement, which was posted on his Facebook story, said: “After the two-year hiatus I was really looking forward to this year’s edition of Tomorrowland, but there had been complications with the mutual planning, which unfortunately made it impossible for me to perform. The coordination of such a huge event is of course never easy, but I couldn’t have imagined that it would be me who is affected by this. What I wish for most now is that all of you have a great experience with all the other artists playing at the festival.”

This show was part of his return to performing live again after a two-year hiatus, most likely due to issues with COVID-19. Being one of the most respected musicians on the line-up, people were surprised even more by the news. Solomun was scheduled to be on Sunday at 7:30 but didn’t announce until what fans seemed was the last minute. He had already played weekend one at the festival.

Fans were quick to point out the similarity between this instance and David Guetta’s lack of attendance at this year’s Tomorrowland.

But, since David Guetta wasn’t put on the lineup for issues with the festival, it is safe to say Solomun reasons were genuine, especially since he performed on weekend one.

You can still catch Solomun live, however, as he is on a global tour. The artist will be in Ibiza, Płock, St. Tropez, London, Viana do Castelo, Amsterdam, Sarajevo, Istanbul, North Coast, and Ibiza all summer.

We only hope to see more of him at Tomorrowland next year.
