Dom Dolla Shares Emotional Video After Meeting Tïesto for the First Time

After meeting Tiësto at Tomorrowland Weekend 3 for the first time, Dom Dolla shared a sentimental video via social media. 

Dom Dolla posted on Instagram a very unbelievable moment capturing his first time encountering Tiësto. Tomorrowland Weekend 3 started its festivities the same day these two artists met. Subsequently, Tiësto was scheduled to play the Main Stage and Dom Dolla at Crystal Garden both on Friday.

The post was captioned: “An aspiring young DJ finally meets god ??✨ @tiesto.” Dom dropped his debut release ‘The Boxer‘ in 2013. Fast forward to July 28th, 2022, nine years later and he finally engages with Tiësto aka the Godfather of EDM. The post highlights the magical moment with Dom Dolla going in for an embrace and Tiësto pats his head and gives a thumbs up. 

Dominic Matheson better known as Dom Dolla is a Melbourne-based house DJ and music producer. He released his first single in 2013, and in 2015 signed with Sweat It Out. He is known for his live sets, remixes, and hit singles. However, in July of the same year, he collaborated with Go Freek on their track ‘Define.’ The track climbed to number 2 on the ARIA Club End of Year Chart. 

This solidified Dominic’s presence within the EDM community. His tracks ‘You‘ and ‘Love Like This‘ established his presence in the club circuit. Next in 2017, he earned a nomination for Best Dance Release for his single “Be Randy” from the Australian Recording Industry Association. 

Dom played Red Rocks in April and continued his set despite light snowfall amid his set. Fans had a truly magical experience as he created a winter wonderland of sound. The snow added an extra layer of surrealism not only for the fans but also for Dom Dolla. 

He releases his latest single, ‘Miracle Maker’ on July 14th this year featuring, Clementine Douglas. Throughout the year he will be playing at festivals such as Mysteryland, Holy Ship, and most recently Tomorrowland.
