Disco Donnie Presents Acquires Lights All Night Festival
Lights All Night Festival was obtained by Disco Donnie Presents, the leading U.S. independent electronic music promoter.
Disco Donnie Presents adds Lights All Night Festival to their roster of festivals currently including Ubbi Dubbi and Freaky Deaky. New Year’s Eve 2010 kicked off the Lights All Night festival, making it the longest-running electronic festival in Texas. Ghostland Observatory headlined that year with over 6,000 attendees.
Scott Osburn and Hank Keller founded Lights All Night Festival, subsequently, Scott gained the bulk authority of LAN in 2018. For the succeeding two years, the festival sold out weeks before with Osburn’s company Always On assistance. “I’m very excited to see how the festival evolves and feel fortunate to hand over the reins to such respected and capable producers,” Osburn told Billboard.
Billboard recently featured both men, Donnie commented, “Scott Osburn and his team have built an extraordinary festival and it’s an honor for us to be trusted to continue and expand on their creativity.” Now under Disco Donnie Presents, Donnie truly wants to preserve the integrity and authenticity of the festival with his mastery. This new endeavor has solidified DDP as Texas’s Largest Independent Promoter.
This year LAN will be Thursday, December 29th, and Friday, December 30th at the Dallas Market Hall, in Dallas, Texas. Pre-sale begins this Monday, August 1st at 10 am CT including payment plans as low as $26 + shipping. Additionally, the lineup showcases many established artists such as Zeds Dead, John Summit, Dosem, and many more.
After graduating from Louisiana State, James “Disco” Donnie Estopinal started hosting dance parties in New Orleans in 1994. He established Disco Donnie Presents in 1994, now regarded as one of the godfathers of U.S. electronic dance music.
For over 25 years Donnie has been a foundation block in the electric music industry. DDP has produced over 17,000 live events, including outdoor festivals and arena shows in over 100 markets across the world, and sold over 17 million tickets. As a result, a new chapter emerges for DDP with their re-acquired sole ownership in 2020 and now this historic acquisition of LAN.
