The house and electronic music sensations Party Favor and Nitti Gritti have quickly risen as one of EDM’s favorite bromances because of the heartwarming photos they post across social media.
Party Favor, also known as Dylan Ragland, was born in New York but raised in Utah. After high school, he attended Chapman University, got a job at NBC then quit to pursue DJing. At first, he was known as his real name but later adopted Party Favor as his musical alias.
Nitti Gritti, also known as Ricky Mears, was raised in Pennsylvania but moved to Haiti for 8 years for missionary work with his family. Afterward, he moved to Miami and started his DJing career as Nitti Gritti in 2016.
The two miraculously met and began sending house beats back and forth when they realized there was a potential to form something bigger. In September 2019, they announced an official collaboration and have been one of EDM’s biggest bromances ever since as SIDEPIECE.
Their debut release was “Wanna See You,” which gained significant attention after being published through Billboard.
Along their journey of bromance, they have been nominated for a grammy for their single “On My Mind,” which featured iconic electronic music artist Diplo. Also, have released over a dozen singles that have made their way across global festivals and concerts.
Their latest release, which was called “1, 2 Step (Supersonic),” was released on June 3rd and featured Lee Foss. It is a classic club banger that makes you want to dance and move your feet. Something they have a knack for.
As the duo continues to release songs and post photos, they are becoming more and more celebrated for their friendship and music. We can only hope to see more of them in the future.
