Gryffin kicks off the Alive tour with a two-day Brooklyn Mirage run and one show is already sold out.

The platinum-selling dance producer Gryffin has been making waves with the announcement of his new forthcoming sophomore album. It has been nearly 3 years since his debut album Gravity propelled his career into superstardom.

The LA-based producer possesses a finesse in walking the line of creating emotionally charged tracks that still encompass an overall dance feel. His songs are beautiful and euphoric all the while keeping the vibe electrifying. Back in May, Gryffin premiered the single and title of his new album, “Alive” which is a dreamlike collaboration with Swedish singer/songwriter Calle Lehman.

Released via Darkroom/Interscope Records, “Alive” is yet another powerful showcase of chemistry between himself and Calle continuing the energy from their previous smash hit “All You Need to Know” with Slander. This heartbreak anthem is a flood of raw emotion built with majestic intensity and its glorious gut-punching chorus, “I’m nothing without our love alive”.

To further tease his new body of work, Gryffin has shared more tracks from Alive including “Caught Up” featuring Olivia Brian, a collaboration with One Republic on “You Were Loved”, and a new track called “Reckless” featuring MØ. Just by the song titles we already know we’re in for an emotional rollercoaster. Check it out below.

Accompanying his album is of course a new tour to bring his work to life on stage. Starting towards the end of the summer, Gryffin will embark on an eight-show journey spanning across the US and kicking off with not one but two shows on August 18 – 19 at New York’s iconic Brooklyn Mirage with dates running into the winter.

Act quick, few tickets remain for the Friday show and Saturday is sold out. You don’t want to miss Gryffin’s performance in the newly renovated space with a horseshoe-shaped LED screen to be engulfed in his stunningly colorful visuals and sound. Supporting Gryffin on tour are sets from Codeko, Disco Lines, Dot, Elderbrook, Far Out, Jason Ross, Joel Corry, KC Nights, Last Heroes, Surf Mesa, and William Black.

Some of my favorite artists are Zeds Dead, Cloonee, Nghtmre, Flume, Infekt, Sosa, Bleu Clair, Subtronics, but the list goes on forever.
