Black Coffee Parties At Hï Ibiza with Drake and The Martinez Brothers
Black Coffee had a surprise visit from Drake during his weekly set at Hï Ibiza, which also featured The Martinez Brothers on Saturday, July 16th.
The surprise comes after Black Coffee’s recent involvement in Drake’s Latest Album, “Honestly Nevermind,” where he has multiple production credits. Including credits on ‘Currents’ and ‘Overdrive’. It also came during Black Coffee’s residency at the iconic, exclusive venue.
However, “Honestly Nevermind” isn’t the first time the duo has collaborated. The two have been been working together since 2017. When South African producer produced ‘Get It Together’ from Drake’s “More Life” album.
At the show, the crowd got the chance to hear Drake’s new album with him on stage for one of the first times, even though he didn’t end up singing much.
Black Coffee’s performance also enlisted the talents of The Martinez Brothers. The Bronx-born duo is most known for their residences in Ibiza. As well as, their hit songs ‘Let It Go (with Marc E. Bassy)’, ‘PAP (Piedente Al Paso)’, and more.
While the four were together on stage they snapped a picture that the brother duo posted with the caption “@hiibizaofficial was a ? last night shoutout to @realblackcoffee for having us ? crazy times salute gawd @champagnepapi ?™”
The caption alludes to their support and admiration of Drake, even as he branches into house music. The brothers recently posted “At the end of the day the fact that house music is being embraced by people like him is a win for all of us regardless.”
As well as saying, “And we’re having our opinion ❤️respect what you’re saying. Same goes with us everything we do people have there own takes on it and there’s nothing wrong with that” to fan that snapped back at them for their post supporting Drake.
