Exron Exclusive Interview: Sunsquabi at Electric Forest 2022
Meeting at an apex between jam and electronic music, the Sunsquabi signature sound has garnered much critical acclaim across their discography and funky performances. Funk-layered and groove-inducing soundscapes are what the band has become known for since their inaugural release in 2015.
Continuing to forge their own unique path, the Denver-based trio is no stranger to the festival circuit. 2022 has seen major stops at Electric Forest, Gem and Jam, High Sierra, and many more to come. Bringing their ever-evolving sound to various festivals and cities across the country, Subsquabi’s fanbase is ever expanding as they captivate the attention of fans and industry professionals with their feel-good sound.
Over the better part of the last decade, Sunsquabi has collaborated with the likes of GRiZ, The String Cheese Incident, Lettuce, Late Night Radio, and more. In addition to their music career, the band has various humanitarian initiatives they’re involved in like collaborating with local youth music programs across the country and teaming up with HempWorks Wisconsin to develop a line of Delta 8 cartridges.
