WAKAAN Music Festival Recruits the Finest Acts in Bass Music for 2022 Lineup
2022 Lineup for WAKAAN Music Festival finally announced assembling the best of the best in Bass Music performers.
Wakaan Music Festival posted its 2022 line-up via Twitter this past Wednesday, July 13th. The festival return was announced in February, with fans patiently waiting for the line-up to officially drop. Tickets went on sale early this year, but most ticket packages selling out. Over 50 artists are performing such as Buku, Jantsen, Sully, and many more.
Martin Stääf better known as Liquid Stranger founded the festival in 2019. Since then Covid-19 hit the following year, putting the festival on pause. This year Liquid Stranger will be performing at the pre-party alongside Tape B, Notixx, Ravenscoon, Shlump, and Minnesota to kick off the festivities.
Liquid Stranger began in 2003 when Stääf wanted an alias for his musical creations. In the early stages of his career, he wanted his identity to remain a secret. In 2015 he signed with Interchill a Canadian record label that credited his name on his record. Subsequently killing his efforts to remain anonymous and revealing his true identity.
His extensive discography includes nine full-length studio albums, multiple EP drops not to mention all his remixes. Liquid Stranger is highly respected and is one of bass music’s most iconic artists. His latest album “Balance‘ was released this past April, exploring his unique sound design.
Festival goers can arrive as soon as 2 pm on September 28th with an early arrival pass, sold separately, which includes the special pre-party. Any Gold VIP ticket holders receive free early entry as well. The general 3-day ticket holders can get there at midnight on the morning of Thursday, September 29th. Everyone must pack up by Sunday, October 2nd no later than 3 pm.
Performances commence daily in the early afternoon to just past sunrise and end on the morning of October 6th. The general store is on-site for any extra supplies, along with water, showers, port-a-potties, and electrical capabilities. This year’s line-up is pure fire, encapsulating a memorable festival experience for everyone.
