Watch Wax Motif Become First DJ to Perform at Global Tesla Headquarters in Austin

Wax Motif is granted a special opportunity to play at the new Tesla global headquarters at a futuristic after party.

Australian DJ producer Wax Motif has been gaining serious traction and mainstream popularity over the last few years of his music career. Earlier this year he released his first official studio album called House of Wax which included some of his most iconic hits like “Keep Raving”, “Skank N Flex”, and “All Black Everything”.

His talent has led Danny to headline shows across international venues, perform for massive festival crowds, and hear his tracks rinsed throughout the house music circuit. Sometimes that talent is recognized by people in high places, and you get presented with a unique opportunity.

For Wax Motif, this opportunity was an invitation to DJ at the grand opening of the new Tesla giga factory that opened in Austin, TX. It is the new massive headquarters for Tesla and the facility is even taller than the Burj Khalifa.

Inside the facility, Elon Musk threw an event called the Cyber Rodeo which was giving major warehouse rave vibes. After Elon gave his keynote speech Wax Motif played his set for attendees and became the first artist to DJ inside the Tesla global headquarters.

Wax Motif has cultivated a distinct lane of his own in the ever-growing house music scene with his style and even demeanor. Keeping up with the times, Danny was quick to jump on releasing some of the first remixes of Drake’s latest album Honestly Nevermind.

Smartly, he can identify this opportunity and ride the current mainstream house music wave giving more exposure to his work amongst non-electronic music listeners. This ability to walk a silver lining and create music that is an enjoyable experience for anyone is what has propelled Wax Motif to success.

I’ve been with Exron since 2018 and have the privilege of contributing to the culture alongside other badass women whom I now call my friends. My introduction to the scene was first influenced by trap music, but my discography has since expanded to touch a bit of everything. Some of my favorite artists are Zeds Dead, Cloonee, Nghtmre, Flume, Infekt, Sosa, Bleu Clair, Subtronics, but the list goes on forever.
