Lucii Says She’s “Tired of Waiting on Labels” to Release Music She Made Last Year

Electronic-pop artist Lucii opens up about being tired of waiting on labels to release her music.

Lucii, Wakaan’s mainstay and electronic music star, opened up in a series of tweets about being tired of waiting on labels to release her new music.

The posts garnered lots of fan attention with dozens of replies urging her just to release her music herself.

The Tweet that started it all was just a simple post opening up to fans: “I’m really tired on waiting on labels i’m about to just start self releasing my new stuff.”

Then, after some fans responded, she went in deeper about how her label is making her feel: “It’s honestly making me so depressed like i wrote these songs last year and i just want them out for the world.”

After opening up about her depressed state, people online began sympathizing with her even more, and rightfully so. After all, who’s right is it to withhold another’s art?

Because of the realness of the last tweet, dozens more fans began begging her to release her music. Some even went as far as to say she should start her own label.

Presumably, the fan support prompted Lucii to Tweet: “AHHHHH IM DOING IT. Ok f**k it im doing it.”

Lucii also responded to one fan telling her to “go for it” and said this: “These songs are so special to me, I just don’t wanna make the wrong choice by not waiting for one of these labels. my new music is very different so it’s a big step.”

Due to the outcry of fan support online about her releasing new music she is probably likely to perform a few of the tracks on her upcoming tour.

You can catch her on tour starting July 22 and ending in November all over the US. Hopefully listening to the unreleased music locked in a hard drive.
