Porter Robinson’s Air2Earth Set at Tripolee

Electric Forest was blessed enough to feature two sets from iconic electronic music producer Porter Robinson. On Saturday, he delivered an ethereal performance highlighting his latest album ‘Nurture’ and of course his classic ‘Worlds’ anthems. However, the arguably more notable set was Sunday’s performance from Porter’s latest side project, Air2Earth.

Bringing something entirely new to the table, Porter Robinson explored the realm of downtempo electronic music, blending indie house, electro, and more. Robinson never fails to deliver a refreshing and unique performance and this new project is certainly no different. Closing out the final day of the festival at the Tripolee stage, fans left feeling energized, emotional and ready for more Air2Earth.

GRiZ at Ranch Arena

GRiZ certainly showcased his love for the Electric Forest family with multiple sets across the weekend and random appearances during the festival. His two official sets were both at Ranch Arena, Friday saw the high-energy closing set while GRiZ provided a euphoric golden hour set on Sunday.

Highlighting the musician’s versatility, each set provided an entirely different experience for attendees. Both crowds were packed to the brim as GRiZ boasted his undeniable stage presence and feel-good discography. After the festival, fans sparked rumors that GRiZ should take over Bassnectar’s “residency” with Electric Forest in the years to come. He was certainly one of the most involved artists of the entire weekend.

Clozee’s Redemption Set at Carousel Club

French DJ and producer Clozee was scheduled to play Electric Forest on Saturday evening. However, nearly ten minutes into her set, Clozee stopped the performance due to technical issues relating to the stage’s speakers. Although she was finally able to go through with her show, Clozee felt that her fans were owed a “redemption” set—and that’s just what she did.

Fans were alerted on Sunday afternoon that their beloved queen would be playing a second set at the Carousel Club that night. Clozee drew a massive crowd to the Carousel Club where she played a variety of unreleased tunes, original tracks, remixes, and more. Of course, Clozee expressed gratitude for her fans through some sentimental words, and we’re sure she felt the love right back.

Mersiv at Sherwood Court

Sunset sets at Sherwood Court are not awarded to artists lightly. Watching the sun descend in the hazy sky behind the stage is truly a sight to see. Nuzzled between lush greenery, Sherwood Court creates the most magical foreground for the sun’s final goodbye of the day.

Given Saturday’s sunset slot at Sherwood, Denver-based bass musician Mersiv had big shoes to fill. However, Mersiv delivered a performance that will surely go down in Electric Forest’s history. Drawing one of the largest crowds the stage had seen all weekend, Mersiv synthesized his repertoire of bangers and downtempo melodies amid the sunset’s backdrop. The young artist confidently set a new standard for what attendees should expect for years to come during a Michigan sunset.
