Grum Returns with Two-Part Futuristic Studio Album ‘Unreality’ Out on Anjunabeats

Grum released his fourth studio album ‘Unreality’ ahead of his summer tour.

On June 24, Graeme Shepherd, aka Grum, released his fourth studio album, ‘Unreality’. The album features fourteen new tracks that explore Grum’s life over the past couple of years. Grum was like many other artists in 2020 who were stuck at home due to the pandemic and waiting to take the stage again. However, instead of worrying, he began producing records and explored his own influences, with the result being put on display on ‘Unreality’.

Furthermore, in a Instagram post, Grum said “This album is a moment in time, directly influenced by the strangest couple of years in modern history. I don’t think I could have made it any other way. I hope it connects with you all as much as creating it kept me happy and occupied while everything faded away. Can’t wait for you all to hear the full release, and I’m looking forward to sharing more album moments on the Unreality tour.”

In regards to the new track’s production, it is composed of vocals and deep melodies that effortlessly showcase the producer’s emotions. Some tracks that stand out include ‘Don’t Look Down’ and ‘Taking Over Me,’ which are perfect summertime anthems that will keep feet moving all throughout the hot season.

Grum’s ‘Unreality’ is out now on Anjunabeats, with limited vinyl pre-orders available on the Anjuna Music Store now. In addition to releasing his album, Grum is also gearing up for phase one of his ‘Unreality’ tour kicking off this summer. The tour includes 18 dates across North America with shows in San Francisco, Las Vegas, Chicago, Toronto, and more. Additionally, Grum is also making a stop at Above & Beyond’s Group Therapy Weekender London festival this September.

My name is Sebastian Medina and I was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. Ever since I could remember, I have always been in love with dance music. I appreciate all genres and sub-genres but I definitely gravitate towards house and techno. Being from LA I was blessed with an amazing nightlife full of different artists coming in and out of town throughout the years. Some of my favorite artists include Seth Troxler, Michael Bibi, Mr.Carmack, PAWSA, and Folamour.
