CloZee Plays Redemption Set at Electric Forest Following Technical Difficulties During Performance

French DJ and Producer CloZee awarded fans with a “redemption” set at Electric Forest after her original set was interrupted several times due to technical difficulties.

After three long years, Electric Forest finally made its historic return to Double JJ Resort in Rothbury, Michigan. Invited back for the festival’s 2022 edition was beloved French musician CloZee. Real name Chloé Herry, CloZee was slated to perform at Sherwood Court on Saturday evening, shortly after Mersiv played a massive sunset set.

Not even ten minutes into her set, CloZee stopped her performance due to sound issues. The artist claimed that the speakers (in particular, the subwoofers) were not working as they should. This ended up being a significant issue because, according to the artist, a large portion of the track she attempted to play was comprised of bass. 

CloZee is a prominent bass DJ, so it’s expected that any stage she performs on should have working subwoofers. Eventually, the show went on, and CloZee gave her loving fans her all, evening bringing out her good friend and close collaborator LSDREAM to perform one of their tracks together.

Although CloZee was able to finish up Saturday night’s set, many fans felt like the artist deserved another time slot to make up for the minor mishap. On Sunday afternoon, the festival alerted attendees that CloZee would be performing a surprise second set that evening at the Carousel Club stage.

CloZee drew a massive crowd to the Carousel Club that evening, allowing her the chance to offer fans a proper set. To no surprise, CloZee performed a unique, magical set that filled any holes in the hearts of her fans that evening. It was the perfect way to round out an overwhelmingly beautiful weekend at Electric Forest.

The artist was deeply grateful for the opportunity to make it up to her fans on the final night of Electric Forest. She shared a post on social media that reads, “Just wanted to say, you guys were seriously the freaking best on Saturday night at Electric Forest.” She finished up by adding, “The silver lining, is that i got to hear you during that silence, and I got to play another set for you.”
