Deadmau5 Releases Driving Lead Single from We Are Friends Vol. 11 “XYZ”

Deadmau5 unveils “XYZ” as the first single from his highly anticipated forthcoming ‘We Are Friends (Vol 11) series, due for later this year on mau5trap.

World renowned DJ producer, Deadmau5, has been a staple in the electronic dance music scene and continues to match his thrilling persona behind the decks with prolific production in the studio. In the latest news, he drops his lead single “XYZ”, from the forthcoming ‘We Are Friends (Vol 11)’ compilation, which is set to land later this year.

“XYZ” touches down as an impressive tapestry of electrifying combination of instrumental sounds within a nine-and-a-half minute offering. Deadmau5 merges a perfect blend of techno beats and percussion from the beginning to the end of the track to serenade the mind, body and soul. In addition, the driving rhythms and gripping drums bring a vibrancy to this infectious track, just what the listeners need to hit a thrilling musical feel-good energy leading up to the rest of the album.

‘We Are Friends’ was born in 2012 as a brilliant product to spotlight a series of musical compilation from Deadmau5‘s label imprint, mau5trap. Since its first edition, the mau5trap family has unveiled a collection of wonderful music to shine greater attention on new and fresh talents within the label itself. Over the years, the label served as a home for some of the veterans in dance music including Zedd, Feed Me, REZZ and Chris Lake, who delivered their signature techno, progressive and electro gems on the label.

In the first ever branded tour ‘deadmau5 presents We Are Friends’ set to kick off this July 15 in Philadelphia, the show will bring together a spectacular line-up of artists including Kasablanca, Lamorn, NERO (DJ Set) and more, headlined by the one and only label head, Deadmau5. Spanning across six months with inclusion of some of the iconic venues across the United States, such as The Gorge in Washington and Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Colorado, fans will be treated to a impeccable performances from the mau5trap family of talents.
