Oliver Heldens Drops First-Ever NFT Featuring Exclusive Music and 3D Animations

Oliver Heldens follows the crypto trend and drops his debut NFT.

Preeminent and international DJ Oliver Heldens recently launched his first ever NFT collection featuring exclusive music and 3D animations. The release dropped via the ever-growing platform OneOf, which currently leads in the space of ESG (i.e. environmental, social, and governance) investing, but make it crypto.

This NFT launch, like many of its predecessors, will be a series of installments titled “Oli Pods: The Genesis NFT.” The first installment, Oli Gecko, dropped June 9th and was followed shortly by special perks, announcements, new music, and fan insiders. To bring Oli Pods to life, Heldens teamed up with designer and Netherlands-native Dennis Osseweijer (Oxcraft) to brainstorm a custom token. The Oli Pods will showcase 3D avatars of Heldens as versions of different characters, grooving and moving to some of his original music.

Regarding the platform, OneOf is a nonfungible token platform that supports crypto assets across multiple carbon-conscious blockchains. As a crypto community pioneer, OneOf is deeply committed to a sustainable future, but also one steeped in blockchain technology. Its mission is to create artist-minded, investor-friendly, and environmentally conscious experiences. In the process of minting NFTs, OneOf’s platform consumes 2 million times less energy than proof-of-work networks.

Regarding its users, the purchasing of NFTs cost zero dollars in blockchain gas fees. You can also purchase NFTs using various methods of payment, from debit to credit as well as coin and crypto. As a champion of diversity, more than 80% of the collections featured via OneOf derive from minority or female creators. The platform also donates a portion of all proceeds for every NFT collection to its creator’s preferred charity, truly embodying the spirit of decentralization, the leveling of playing fields.

OneOf has also dropped NFTs for artists such as G-Eazy, Cordae, Doja Cat, Masego and company. Clearly, the platform is making waves in both music and economics.

Heralding from sunny South Florida, I am a proud Florida Woman. In my free time, I surf the swamp, wrangle gators, open fan mail, and tend to my pets. In the wild, I'm most often spotted at immersive art spaces, step tappin' in a shadowed corner of the club, hater blockerz on, totally incognito as your resident EDM spice girl. Although I generally tout my spicy side, if there's one thing I'd love to impress upon the world, it would be this: it's not a waste to give love to those who do not deserve it – it's a gift. The world would be a better place if we gave, in kindness and in mercy, to those who need it most with no expectation in return.
