Shlump Welcomes Fans To Become A “Psychedelic Explorer” in Charged New Single

California Producer Shlump Releases “Psychedelic Explorer” Ahead Of His Summer Festival Run

Bay Area producer, Shlump, is gearing up ahead of his summer festival shows with his new record “Psychedelic Explorer”. This record comes just a couple of months after his EP, ‘Drift Away,’ which was released earlier this year. The track is composed of steady low-end bass sounds with Slump’s own alien bass twist.

In addition to releasing music on labels such as Deadbeats, Circus Records, Deep Dark & Dangerous. “Psychedelic Explorer” comes on of Liquid Stranger’s, infamous imprint Wakaan. Shlump and Liquid Stranger have collaborated in the past when the two teamed up for their song “Creature”.

It’s no secret that this song and its supplemental artwork have psychedelic influences. When speaking about the record Shlump added “I wrote Psychedelic Explorer during a time when I started experimenting with psilocybin. I have been a psychedelic explorer for many years but taking microdoses was a new experience for me. There was a sense of novelty to writing something with a chill rhythm and melodic atmosphere.”

Shlump continued on about the sampling he used for the track “I sampled a few minor vocal clips from a lecture about psychedelics that I felt were appropriate. “What it does is break down boundaries” “It’s referring to the boundary of our ego or identity that seems to separate reality. There is a sense of merging with a large energy of universe that I feel really reflects the psychedelic experience.”

As Shlump prepares for the upcoming summer season. He’ll be making appearances at Sonic Bloom, Shambhala, Interstellar, and Elements Music & Arts Festival. Last but not least, make sure to stay up to date with Shlump’s socials for more upcoming announcements. And make sure to check out “Psychedelic Explorer” out now on all platforms.

My name is Sebastian Medina and I was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. Ever since I could remember, I have always been in love with dance music. I appreciate all genres and sub-genres but I definitely gravitate towards house and techno. Being from LA I was blessed with an amazing nightlife full of different artists coming in and out of town throughout the years. Some of my favorite artists include Seth Troxler, Michael Bibi, Mr.Carmack, PAWSA, and Folamour.
